My mother died four years ago at the age of 97 and this was her favorite quote. She said she read it in a doctor's office and there was no author. i would love to know the source.

I wish I could help you with this one, but it's been around a very long time with no particular attribution. I found it in a book of toasts published in 1912, unfortunately without attribution, and it was referred to as an old toast even back then.
